I manage a large FE learning resource service in north Wales at Coleg Llandrillo Cymru. I also teach on, and coordinate, the college’s library & information studies curriculum = Libraries, Archives & Information Services (LAIS) Certificate and Diploma, and Applications of ICT in Libraries and Foundation Degree in Library & Information Management.

I formerly edited the CoFHE Bulletin and I’m a former Chair of CoFHE and of the Welsh association of colleges’ Learning Resource Managers network. I’m also a former member of CILIP‘s Policy Forum.

This blog is a forum for discussing issues relating to Further Education libraries and in particular the development of Digital Literacy in the context of FE. I will also use this blog to post my findings relating to project work I’m engaged in eg JISC Peer E-guides (PEDL) and Digital Literacy (PADDLE)  project.
