FE learning resource toolkits

The hard copy of the English toolkit is still awaiting distribution but the events promoting it are continuing. The next one is on 20 April in the south west at Exeter Central Library, details on the CoFHE website.

The 2nd edition of the Welsh toolkit will not be publicly available on the fforwm website but is instead on their VLE. If anyone outside Wales is interested in a copy then I will be bring some to the CoFHE conference in Edinburgh in June or alternatively if you contact me I’ll put you in touch with the editor.

I believe the 2nd edition of the Scottish toolkit is also nearing completion and should be available via the SLIC website when published.

There are still places available for the 2009 CoFHE conference in Edinburgh in June. I will be doing workshops on the use of Web 2.0 in FE and on the Welsh and English (with Steve Cropper, Wirral Metropolitan College) toolkits.

There are also still places available for the free CoFHE Cymru conference on 24 April in Cardiff. I will be talking about the use of web 2.o tools in FE.

There will be an FE/HE strand at Umbrella which is the cross sector library conference held every two years. In 2009 the conference will be held at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield in July. CoFHE are sponsoring a full delegate place at the conference (closing date 17 April).

The 2010 joint CoFHE/UCR conference has been confirmed as 21-23 June 2010 at the University of Exeter.
